LIFERS organizes a “swim in” to support the Rec Center’s inclusive policies

On March 30, 2025, LIFERS held a “swim in” event to support the Rec Center’s inclusive policies that allow individuals to use the facilities that align with their gender identity. The event was organized in response to hateful public comments made at a previous city council meeting about the Rec Center’s policies. The event drew more than twenty people, showing that hate has no place in Saline.
